Introduction
I begin every year with reflection on the past year, as well as peering into the future into what might come.
Having spent the beginning of 2024 with my mother-in-law and extended family on the island of Cyprus, I’ve seen the impact of wild inflation on those here and in Turkey.
The inflation and cost of living situation in North America and Europe don’t seem to be improving either.
I’ve watched close friends and thousands of strangers lose their jobs, and others struggle to find meaningful work where they feel valued and are paid a reasonable salary.
And all the while, companies are increasing their prices for almost everything–from the things we need, to the things that make life a little bit better.
So in an act of empathy (okay, and a wee bit of defiance), I decided to temporarily lower all of my coaching fees for new and current coaching clients.
What’s Changing?
Monthly and Accelerated Coaching
Coaching Service | Previous Coaching Fees | New Coaching Fees |
Monthly Coaching Intensive | $427CAD/ month | $327CAD/ month |
Accelerated Monthly Coaching | $797CAD/ month | $679CAD/ month |
There will be no change to the package details, and the coaching will continue to be month-to-month (no contract commitment).
Any active clients will continue to receive a minimum of 6 months of coaching at this fee schedule when the fees increase again.
New Coaching Options
To increase accessibility of coaching for anyone wanting to prioritize their career growth, I am also offering two new tiers of coaching:
Coaching Service | Details | Coaching Fees |
Single Coaching Session | One 45-minute virtual coaching session | $159 CAD |
Five Coaching Sessions | Pre-pay for five 45-minute virtual coaching sessions | $635 CAD |
With these sessions, you’ll receive post-coaching support by email (rather than a private coaching chat channel, which comes with Monthly and Accelerated coaching).
Coaching Programs
Enrolment in my introvert job seeker coaching programs are currently closed.
I’ll be releasing updated resources for job seekers in the near future.
What This Means For You
For existing coaching clients
Your next coaching invoice will reflect my new, lower coaching fees. You will also receive an updated contract reflecting my new fees, which will also apply to your grandfathering clause for when my fees increase again.
As always, you have the option to pause, stop or switch to another coaching option (including the new coaching tiers). Just contact me by email or on your private coaching chat channel to make the change.
If you’re enrolled in a defined coaching program (Introvert Career Navigator or Introvert Career Pathway), your participation in the program will continue as planned. Also check your email for details on complementary coaching sessions. This is my way of thanking you for joining me early and to offer my coaching to support your future development.
For new coaching clients
You can sign up for any of the available coaching options at the current fee structure.
This current fee structure will be grandfathered for you for a minimum of 6 months from the date of any fee increases.
As an example, if you sign up for the Monthly Coaching Intensive at $327/month and I return pricing to $427/month, you’ll continue to pay $327/month for a minimum of 6 months from the date of the increase.
Or, if you choose to pay for individual coaching sessions, you’ll be invoiced at the current $159/session price for a minimum of 6 months from the time of any fee increases.
Still want to know more about why I’m doing this?
I had a moment where I was looking at announcements of more subscriptions being increased, and business owners frustrated with people on their mailing list who weren’t buying anything.
In an environment where people are struggling to feed their families and wondering if their retirement savings will last long enough, it just didn’t seem right.
I still believe people and businesses should be paid for the value they provide, but nickel-and-diming doesn’t feel like a great way to build a long-term partnership.
I asked myself what I could do differently, and this was the answer that came back.
Although I haven’t been immune to the global financial environment, I would rather make up the difference with more coaching clients than fail to adjust my business to serve the people it’s meant to.
